In celebration of Bedford College and Royal Holloway College's tradition of support for women's education, we are holding the Women in Research lecture series to raise awareness of the research contribution of female academics. We have asked a variety of Royal Holloway, University of London lecturers from across the College to sit down and discuss a woman in their field who has inspired and influenced their work.

Hosted by the esteemed Professor Edith Hall, each Wednesday evening for six week she will be interviewing female academics from the departments of History, Physics, Geography, Classics, English and Management about a pioneering woman in their field.
